I filled it up at 16k, and I gave it about 9.46L. Is there likely enough room in the tank for another jug?

You can purchase DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) - you can "pump" it at a truck stop - note pumped DEF does not have auto shutoff like fuel - or buy a retail 2.5G box (most common brand is Peak) at retail auto parts stores or Walmart at/under $16.
However - on the retail boxed stuff - two IMPORTANT suggestions - never use any type of metal funnel with DEF - and throw away any remaining DEF is a partially used DEF container..

The local Ace Hardware, and the Napa auto dealer here in SW Oregon have bludef fluid in stock. The Ace hardware was selling 2.5 gal jugs for $5.99. It took about 4 gallons to refill the tank at 9500 miles.

4 gallons / almost 15 liters.. that is a big variance from the first guy who responded. I'll give it another 2000 miles before I toss another bottle in.
(I have a 9.46L jug kicking around that I wanted to use up).

The usage seems to vary by driving type/style. I fill mine up just before every 10k service and the amount has varied. One time, it was less than 2 gallons. Another time it was close to 5. The others have been in the middle of that range. I buy the 2.5 gallon jugs from Autozone for about $12. I did what some people suggested and bought one of the half-gallon bottles from the MB dealer to make refilling easier, but it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.
