AMG brakes on a glk?

I think when you start using brake kits designed and optimized for other cars that is when you will have problems. There are quite a few car guys swapping Cadillac ATS, Chevy Camaro, and Ford Brembo brakes to other cars like the Subarus, Scions, Nissan, and etc.
I had zero braking power with the stock MC. Upgrading to the WRX STi mc made all the difference in the world. The stock mc simply wasn't strong enogh to push 3 times as many pistons.
Trying to figure out the exact parts needed. Clarification would be great, as we are being told calipers from an E55 or a C63 will fit. Great, but exactly how? Do they bolt right up with existing caliper carriers or do those need to be sourced as well?
I have to find a permanent solution to braking vibrations. I'm pretty sure one of the calipers isn't retracting fully despite brake fluid being flushed. Oddly enough, many of the MB OEM parts site list a left caliper (reman) available but no right caliper. Guess which one is the culprit on my GLK. Yep, that's right. I'm on the 3rd set of front brakes in 86K miles. If an AMG upgrade would cure my braking vibrations, I'd like to do it but I'd appreciate guidance from those who have done it.
Thanks in advance.
Usually the Big brake calipers run really agressive pads.
I’m pretty sure it’s the front left caliper that’s causing the premature wear and it’s enough to have one rotor warp. I could replace the caliper and then rotor+pad set, but if the cost will be similar to upgrade to AMG brakes then I’d rather do it right.
Again, those who have done it, please offer some specifics. Will C63 or E55 calipers bolt up to existing caliper carriers on GLK or are they also needed?
And for reference, I am adding the largest (non-carbon ceramic) steel rotors to my GLK. So I know how much it is going to cost and which parts to use after months of research. It is an enormous amount of parts

The question I had was: will C63 or E55 calipers bolt up directly to existing caliper carriers? I'm pretty sure if you're swapping out OEM size rotors for bigger rotors, you're using larger caliper carriers, correct? If so, which ones?
Since I have the bigger 390mm rotors, all sizes under will fit (380mm & 360).
Since I have the bigger 390mm rotors, all sizes under will fit (380mm & 360).
So, I will need calipers AND carriers/brackets from one of the 3 AMGs above. The holes in the carriers/brackets align with existing holes in the steering knuckle, you said. Now, why do others say the W204 C63 calipers would fit? And from my research, those are 1-piston calipers (albeit bigger overall) compared to my stock 2-piston ones. Is it an upgrade simply because they're slightly larger and you can run bigger rotors & pads?
I have the AMG Sport Appearance pkg, so I have 19" wheels with 235/50 tires.
Lastly, which AMG setup goes where? In other words, which ones go on the front and which ones fit the rear on the GLK?
Thanks very much.
Sorry haven't updated my end for a while, been busy with stuff. I finally got my calipers back from powder coating and they look decent for me.
But if you have a 4matic variant, the AMG front brake caliper will not connect to the line. You have to utilize a Brembo Racing GT caliper with a banjo bolt set up.
I ended up going with cheaper Brembo pads that are advertised to abate dust better. Everything fits in my build so for except the front brake lines & dust shields as Djorge pointed out. I am still waiting on my hubs to get coated and some titanium bleeder valves from England.

Clearance on my 20" wheels is tight with on 0.1mm (.004") of space. My 19" still fit with lots of room.
Speaking of Djorge, which brakes line did you get for the fronts? I was thinking of having goodridge make me some custom length ones.
