Headlight switch with front foglight switch
Anyone know off hand if there is a headlight switch I can order with a front foglight switch? Looking to add foglights to my 2015 and would like to retain a factory look. Is it possible to use a switch from an older year that came factory with the switch?

The light switch itself will not control fogs, there is a separate button for rear fogs. You could get really creative and add wiring for separate front fogs on that button switch but probably way too much work.

Swapping out the DRLs for dedicated fogs means that you'd have them on all the time; not ideal.

You could also try auxiliary fogs with a remote switch, there are plenty of kits and options.

Adding lights to an existing light circuit could cause CanBus issues, codes and non operation. It would be easier to add a switch , relay , and the lights as an add on.

Not really crazy about the after market fog light switches out there. That is why I am trying too see if there is a factory head light switch with a front fog light switch on it that I can use to turn the after market fog lights on and off with. I am not trying to tap into the factory rear fog light switch.

I have this one: 2129057100 in my 2011 GLK with front foglights. You should be able to use this on yours no problem, I had a GL switch in mine for a bit with no issue. Here's the wiring diagram for the switch/fog lights.

Old thread, I know, but still curious: were you able to make this switch work? I looked into something similar (also want to add auxiliary yellow fogs to supplement the ineffective DRLs on my '15), but figured since this switch just talks to the SAM and our facelifted GLKs didn't come with front fogs, it'd be a no go.

Keen to hear your experience!
