CarPlay now has Waze! Thanks Benz

Maybe I am the last to know, but when I plugged in my phone yesterday I finally have Waze on CarPlay! Yippee!

It was in for service last week and I’m assuming they did some sort of update. I’m beyond thrilled!

I’m posting in the event others have been waiting too!

It has been available on CarPlay since Sept ‘18 or so.

Thanks Jerome: Apparently, I am the last to know. 😂

Oddly, I spoke to my MB service asst manager in December and he told me it wasn’t available. 🙄

Glad it is finally here and I have it now!

Some service folks are often not up to speed. Trust but verify.

I've been using Waze for years and I too have been waiting for it to come to Carplay. It was a little bumpy at first but works well now.

i don't think it has anything to do with mb. i think it is the ios update on your iphone where apple now allows waze to go through carplay

nonetheless great update :thumbup:
