Indy receipt shows 5Litres of ATF
Hey guys, I'm curious if the indy did Trang service correctly since their receipt shows 5 litres of fluid pumped in, other people say it should taken 6.4 .... How much fluid does the tyranny take ? According to my research, 5 L + 1.3 litre while engine running, and temp at 39C....
How do I make sure they did the job right?
Thanks

Bummer! Our X204 has one.
The only way I know around that is to pump the old fluid out of a cooler hose until the pan is empty, then add clean fluid. Wash, rinse, repeat. But it takes about 50% extra fluid to do a good job. Maybe not possible with this trans, though. I'll have to read up on it. (Ours is a GLS450, so it may be completely different.)

You need to update your signature!
According to the WIS for my 450 there is a torque converter drain screw.

What is your confidence level in that statement? There's no difference in the transmission related to trim level. PM me your VIN and I'll look up the documentation for your specific car.
