For sale is a CarTronics VIM (Video In Motion) Complete unit. I took it out of my '06 E55 and was only used for a month. The reason I'm selling is BC I'm selling the car. Made to work with 03-06 E Class, 04-08 CLS, and 04-09 SLK. It works great and it like new. It can be used to connect a backup camera along with playing videos through your stock Command screen as long as you have an external video source that uses composite video out and use your aux in glove box for audio. Works perfect with iPod and iPhone using the Apple video out cable or portable DVD player or any other video source that has RCA outputs.

CarTronics iTronic VIM/BC is a fully integrated video in motion and backup camera system for Mercedes Benz.
Our iTronic VIM/BC (video in motion / backup camera) solution will provide video input to your Mercedes Benz's built in screen. Once installed, you will be able to play videos from three different sources on your screen. Typically one of the inputs is used for a backup camera. The other two inputs can be used for sources such as an iPod video output, DVD player, PMP, etc. You can switch between them with the included remote control. If connected to your reverse system in the car, the video will automatically switch to the backup camera input, when you put your car in reverse.

I wish it did too. I need to call them and verify what cars it can work on. I know it works 100% on E class. I assumed it works on the CLS and SLK because that is listed on installation instructions. I will find out for sure Monday if it can work on any other car.

OK I just talked to CarTronics and verified that this will work on the three models I listed. 03-06 E Class, 04-08 CLS, and 04-09 SLK.

Sorry but it won't work on CL or S Class.
