ROCKED!!!!! My E55 kicked his *** by 1.5 car lengths until the limiter kicked in and the Viper caught up. Oh by the way, my car is bone stock.

Doesn't come as a surprise though. I see those things at the track all of the time, they have yet to impress me.

I had one beat the pants off of my C6 Vette, the day before I decided to sell it.
At the track or the drag strip?
Renntech-
Are you referring to the Viper not impressing you at the track or drag strip?
The coupes are certainly one of the best track cars out there, especially with a few mods.
I am not being sarcastic, but what cars have impressed you at the track?
By the way, nice stable of cars. The CGT is probably my vote for the ultimate track car.

I have run against about 4 or 5 coupes (in the SL and the 996) from the sound none were stock, I destoyed them all. I just dumped my C6 Vette, I think the Viper is WAAAAAYY cooler than any Vette.
BTW...I was impressed with a '93 Ford Lightning pick-up truck that beat my *** last Friday...He ran 11.23@127.
How about the track?
Do you have the opportunity to take any of your cars out to the track? It looks as though you are a real HP guy, but (as I am sure you know) most of your stable would excel at the track also.
I have seen a few CGT's at the track - they are incredible. I have never seen anything like it - Mercedes SLR included. I have never seen an Enzo at the track, but I have seen F50's, F40's etc. After the CGT, the next fastest car that I have ever seen was a Viper Competition Coupe followed by a highly modified Viper ACR.
Can't wat to see a properly modded Vette Z06.
I have heard that CGT's are extremely difficult to drive close to their limit, which kind of surprised me at first.
I guess when you have a car its type of capabilities that it makes sense that as you approach it potential it could get tricky.

I ran the newest (current) body style RT/10 Viper from about 70 to 120. He got the jump and pulled me by a couple car lengths at the get go but he stopped pulling pretty quickly after that. I couldn't close the gap at all and he couldn't widen it before we had to shut it down. I raced a Viper truck today from 30-70 and gave him the jump also. I reeled him in with a quickness and would have passed him hard if there'd of been room. He wasn't even as tough to beat as the very new NSX that I raced a month ago. FWIW, that NSX race was before my new tires and recent service C though.
