i think people are missing the point with the Z sometimes. For a car that weight 3132 lbs, its got somewhere in the vicinity of 6.2 lbs/hp and can handle as well as anything out there, not so hot about the steering feel and leaf spring suspension but it does its part. Given that these engines do in fact put out around 530 crank, they are amazingly tunable, besides boring out the engines. I mean, headers and stage 1 cam puts you at 540 rwhp, thats a pretty good tuning deal if you ask me

Since when did this turn into a Vette forum, nearly any car can be made into a beast given enough money, Corvettes, Mustang Cobras, and even Turbo Talons, but I for one enjoy all of the luxuries MB provides us and the power AMG provides us, until I see an 11 second Corvette with heated, cooled, and pulsating seats, I won't be impressed. Sorry.
