Nice pics. I dont think I would have taken the suburban to 100 though. Over 90 in things like that just doesnt seem that safe to me at least.

speed limit 130km/h and radar detector starts taking you 150km/h.
(100mph is 160km/h)

culture difference. I think you take more risk having phonecalls while driving in a city than driving 250km/h on and empty secure highway. but I'm sure your not agreeing...

Haha, guilty as charged. I was just playing. I've slowed down recently, but do my share of speeding from time to time. I have no problem with you going as fast as you want, but i wouldnt take that suburban too its limit, you might find it all too easily. I just thought it was odd that these pics were in the kill stories forum.

the heaven on roads
In Europe you have the heaven on roads while in the US you go to heaven on roads...
Well, in Germany there are almost no speedlimits at all, just in some unsave situation you should not drive more than 130 km/h (80 mph) (130 km/h are called Richtgeschwindigkeit or recommended speed).
In fact, European autoroutes, autostradas, autobahns are quite save roads and the drivers are really corperative. And it often happens that some BMW, Mercedes etc. pass you at top speed.
btw: take a look at this http://www.need4speed.ws
They have speedopics, say photos and videos of kill stories, speedometers and velocity freaks. worth a look

Yeah, I know an admin of need4speed.ws, I just want to agree with Mean-Benz, I live in Czech Republic and the speed limit over here is 130km/h. What do you think? During this year already more than 25 000 cars exceeded 130km/h on the highways. In fact nobody cares how fast you're going. Nobody cares what the speedlimits are. If cops stop you at 250km/h they will just give you a ticket and thats all. Europe is heaven! But people dont have as powerful cars as in US...

Hey guys come back on earth that was few years ago in france. Since couple years you really have to be carrefull. if cops catchs you 50 km/h up to the speed they take your driving license away and you go back home by foot. Also in two years they added 1000 flash machine plus the mobile radars.
The only way I admit myself to drive fast is always on the same road where I know it's safe and the are no police...
I just bough a Smart for two Brabus convertible he is a picts for friday
