R500 destroys C230
About two hours ago I was in my R500 when this smartass swerves into my lane so he wouldn't have stop and almost smashes into the side of my car. I'm like WTF?? Then he has the audacity to want to race me at the next red light. I just looked at him, laughed, and said ok. He was driving a c230!!!! So we line up and he's revving his engin and all that and I'm still laughing. Suddenly the light turns green and I gun it. I blast away from him and keep it at full throttle till about 88 and by then it was over(it was over from the start 
) I get to the next light and after several seconds he pulls up and says I thought you had just a v6 in that?? He looks at the badge and says "oops". Would have dusted him in a 350 anyway, besides I dont know what he was thinking from the start.

he look like he was around 19. Too much adrenaline I think. I bet that will be a great story for his friends" yo guess what guys I got dusted by a, well I dont really know what the hell the thing was, looked kinda like a minivan!!!!

just to be clear.... about your last statement.
You would of dusting him if HE was driving a C350
or

R350 vs C230 kompressor (manual)= i give the edge to the C. Too much weight on the R.
R350 and 230 kompressor auto= probably the edge to the R
now if we are talkinga about new 230 with the 2.5L V6 7 spd auto... sounds to me like the R350 would be carrying too much weight for the V6.
Eitherway you drive an R500 and you won.
I want an ML500 for the family...
The only thing about buying a ML500, R500, E500 is the looming change to the 5.5L. The power difference is huge!

I think I would have beat him in an R350. About that decision, I am sure that the power change wont be that bad especially since you already have an AMG!!

price really doesn't matter on these types of races.
for example, if a Kia Spectra cuts you off and wants to race... what do you do? put him in his place with your Benz..right?
