Met a guy last night over drinks who claims he has a 2002 Z06 with approx $30,000 under the hood who claims a 1/4 mile in 9.5 secs at 135mph. I told him I smell bull****. Seems to me that he should have a much higher trap speed (maybe around 150 or 155) with that 1/4 mile time. Asked for time slips which he said he would provide. Is this possible??

Anything is possible, but yes, I would expect a higher trap speed with that ET. Maybe a great launch with slicks but not as much HP as you would think??? Did he give you an idea of his 1/8 or 60' times?

if his ET was 9.5s, his trap should definitely be in 150 ish. i also call BS

yeah, the lowest speed he should have to get a 9.5 is low to mid 140's
