Spirited runs with a Z06

No, it wasn't a C6 Z06 but it was a modded C5. It had full intake, exhaust, short-throw shifter, 315 DR's and a 150 shot of NO2. No slouch! The first 3 runs were from about 10 mph. I had 3 in the car with the windows rolled down (cruising to a local car show). He had one passenger. From all three rolls I walked him pretty good. At the first light we came to he was shocked. He said, "I've never been beaten, especially by a 4 door." We let him in on our little RennTech secret so he didn't feel too bad. I hate to say, however, that from a dig, he pulled about 3 cars immediately off the line. Those darn 265 Conti's are not for launching.

That wasn't all. Later that day we ran (had 1 passenger this time) a Suzuki ZX6R-06 Limited edition. He tried to gun it around me at about 30 mph. The beast was not going to have any part of that. I continued to pull him well over 120. He tried two more times but the same result. When we came to a stop he was highly impressed.

OK, let the biker flaming begin!

Stage 5

Pulley, ECU, Airbox, Headers, Throttle Body. I will be taking it to the track soon now that it's cooled down. It pulls like a freight train.

OK, let the biker flaming begin!

Flaming will begin just for the reason you put down Suzuki ZX6R. Suzuki makes GSX-R 600. Kawasaki makes ZX6R.
Other than that, if you have Stage5, the results are expected as you experienced, unless you race a 1000cc.

You are right. That was stupid mistake. I was typing too fast and put the wrong manufacturer down. Of course, I have beaten so many bikes on the street it's hard to keep track. Now....let the flaming begin, especially you 1000 cc bikers. Haven't lost to one yet.

I would quit while i am ahead, not only did you not not know your bikes, you also bumped your head when you stated you can also beat a Suzuki 1000.
I have a k4 e55 AMG,a ZO6 with PRO-CHARGER S/C,HEADS & CAM PKG,HEADERS AND EXHAUST......I am still not ready for a gsxr-1000.

OMG do I have to post the video of the C5 Z06 with a supercharge staying dead even with a stock GSX 600 and only pulling when the speeds get very high like 5 gear... Then do i have to post the video of a stock C5 Z06 pulling on a stock E55 AMG.

I hope not..But I can if you need.

With that setup and you can't hang with a 1000??? That's kind of hard to believe. Now, I admit that there have been some very quick bikes that I've seen on the track here in Vegas but the vast, I mean the vast majority of riders can't even break into the mid-11's...I don't care how many cc's they have. I have run two 1000 cc bikes, an R-1 and FZ-1. The R-1 was on the street and I pulled him from the start and continued to pull through at least 1/4 mile. The FZ-1 was on the freeway and if there had been room I would have gone around him. As it was he was extremely nervous as I was coming right up his tail pipe. I promise, when I lose to a bike, I'll post it. But, in about a dozen races, it hasn't happened yet.

Curious since I am not to familar with the stages, but for a stg 5 I don;t see alot of mods as in other cars. Could you list in this case Renntech's staged breakdown. Like what comes with stg 1,2,3,4 etc...and projected output in hp.

Sure, Go to renntechmercedes.com and you can pull up all the specs, including dynographs, for each stage. Stage 5 includes pulley, ecu, headers, airbox & throttle body. I have been negligent in not getting my car dyno'd but that's coming up soon.

The E55 is fast,we all agree, but dont take us for a bunch of idiots...i doubt that you are even running in the 10's as your car sits.

Hey, I don't dispute that 1000 cc bikes are very fast...but...you know as well as I do, there aren't many bike riders that know how to launch and run their bikes. I have never seen anyone at the LV Strip run in the 9's on a 1000 cc bike that wasn't totally built. Never. I've said this before, I've seen more clowns run in the 12's than I've seen in the 10's. You're right, my car would never reach 10's as it's set up but, on the street, I can launch better and the car pulls very hard on the low end. I don't have to worry about rpm's or shift points. Sure, it's "brain dead" driving for the most part but it's effective on the street. Most bike riders can't launch and therefore, usually end up several car lengths behind. You're not a bunch of idiots but it always amazes me that bike riders think that nothing can hang with them. That's nonsense. In fact, here in Vegas, if your car runs in the high 10's, there aren't but a handful of bike riders in this town that can even come close to hanging.

Wow. Don't you think you're a bit melodramatic. I'll bet that most people crack up when they see this video, and in case you didn't notice, he gets right up. The only thing that died was his dignity.

Also, do you know how arrogant you sound? I never said that I could beat every bike on the road. I only said that I haven't lost to one in my E55....yet. If you're a REAL enthusiast, you would say, "Wow, that guy's got a fast car," instead of getting all bent out of shape.

Don't worry though, you're not alone. Everytime I post a win against a bike I get nothing but grief from bikers. I promise, I'll post when I get beat by a bike........when?

Grow up you imbicile, has it not apper to you that no one find the crash funny but you. Also on you beating 1000's.....what were they doing?sitting still while you get a running start from behind?Your car maybe runs good, but you dont even know what a fast car is......i would be willing to bet this is the fastest car you probably own or driven.
Like i said come back when you have a real kill....we will give you your props then......and show us some video,b/c we know how you do.

First of all, quit with the name calling. You're going to lead people on this forum to believe that you're 12 years old.

Now, as for your claims about the all-mighty motorcycles, here's a nice little article about a very, I repeat, very potent and fast bike. Note the times. Very impressive, however, the last paragraph indicates that his 9 second runs were not easily duplicated. So, at 1400 cc's, it would appear that 9 second runs are not quite so common as you claim. ( Quote: I repeat....quit while you are ahead, you cannot beat a stock gsxr-1000,R1,or zx-10 .These bike all run in the 9's stock.I know this b/c i own and operate one of the top performance bike shop in the country.) Again, I have seen some quick bikes but I've seen more mediocre runs than impressive ones.

I will be carrying my video camera in the car soon now that it's not 100 degrees out.

And no, my car is not the fastest car I have driven. Yes, it's the fastest I've owned.

Again, don't get so bent out of shape. I never made any disparaging remarks about bikes and yet, you feel like you have to be the great bike crusader and protect the reputation of all motorcycles across the world.

You don't.

I dont know how it is where you are,but in the Carolinas 9 seconds runs are quite common. No i am not the great bike crusader...but i do feel if you have to know that i believe that i may be a little more qualify to speak on the subject of bikes than you are, seeing that my shop is responsible for holding the worlds record on time speed trial three consecetive years in a row. Also i have a e55 k4 that makes over 600hp,and 700fttq of which it is not close to the fastest car i own or drive.like i said son quit while you are ahead.......if further proof is needed i can give you my webb page and you can call and speak to me personally,to verify my claim.
I did not come on the site to get into a verbal confrontation, all i am saying is when we speak of kills,we try to match apples to apples.Try running and beating a car that is compatable to yours, then we will give you the props you think you so deserve.

What was I thinking?! You're right. I have no right to race motorcycles. I mean, after all, they are the fastest land vehicles on the planet. There is no way a car could ever beat a motorcycle. Forgive me. Sorry to offend you with such ludicrous claims.

I do know one thing...I need to move to the "Carolina's" so my E55 will make 600 hp/ 700 fttq and run in the 10's. The air there must be good!

Call Corey at Kleemanns, ask him how much Jamusa's E55 car made with his K4 mods, also ask him to send you a copy of my dyno sheet...if you need proof. This has nothing to do with the air in the Carolinas.
Once again sonny quit while you are ahead....you are out of your league.
Yes its a good idea to drive around with your video recorder,to try and justify some of these yarns you fabrigated. As usual races like the one you mention is always raced without any proof of some sort.
