Looking for a new toy.
Amen to that - props to the guy for attitude, never mind what he drives. Our local club has many car types in all price ranges. It's all about respect and passion for cars in general, not elitism or brand blindness.

I had a similar thing happen. I was diving the SL600 and talking on the phone. I had a ram air Firebird do a great drift behind me to catch up at a light. I was busy on the phone and not paying him and his buddy the attention he wanted. I gave it just enough gas to keep ahead of him as he did the burn out routine.
Next light he was getting a little more serious. At the least he had cams and exhaust. I believe the Ram air firebirds were low 13's and 5 sec 0-60 or so.
I banged it into first and waited for him to hook up. As he did I punched it. By the time i hit 2nd he was way behind and I was really pulling strong on him. Next light he didn't stop at all but did the drift thing around the corner to the right. Kinda fun beating a muscle car so badly while driving with one hand and talking on the phone all at the same time. They clearly didn't see the V12.
