E430 Sport vs Lexus GS400
First of all, I did not kill the Lexus but I made a mark. I'm driving home from the office at about 12:30 AM (long day) I'm on I 270 north and it is cleared out. I notice a car in my rear view coming up on me very quickly. At first the lights look like another E class. I'm doing about 65 MPH and he gets beside me. I slow a bit to see if it a GS300 or 400. I pull up beside him, we both hit the gas, I pull 1/2 a car ahead and then a full car. He then starts coming back. I kept 1/2 car lead and could not pull away up to 120 MPH. And the best part was he could not get past my drivers door. I don't usually do this but I don't like Lexus and it was late.

Good Kill!
I once raced a GS400 BACK WHEN I had my 89 Supra, This was ten years ago, He was tailgating me at about 80 mph until the right lane was clear then he hit it and I hit it too. He would pull up to my door or fender then we stayed side by side till about 145 mph, We did it twice with the same outcome. He was able to get a jump enough to pull up but once my turbo was blowing he could not pull away. It was such a good race to be side by side for that long up to those speeds.

Nice runs. You did well considering you had those heavy monoblocks on. GS400's are quick cars, but the E430's are lighter and have more torque. Out on the highway anything goes.

A kill is a kill
Good job! Nice to hear a 430 kill story.
Like the op I get many Lexus tailgaters, and in my draft they can keep up until they try the pass.
