2003 s500 versus new body style Maxima 3.5
i was driving down the FDR in manhattan tonight just cruising in very light traffic when all of a sudden a Maxima comes out of no where and is right on my rear end. I give alittle break check so the guy backs off and he trys driving around to pass a couple other cars like a real idiot.
Hes comes back in my lane and i was with my girl so she said dust him lol. Coming from a beautiful women that just got me pumped right there haha.
By the way my S500 is modded with everything except a supercharger so i mash the pedal and the traffic is now very light too practically none i pass around 2 cars and come up that slight hill which is the last exit on the FDR going northbound to the GW bridge, the hill then turns into alittle slope and straightway for at least 3/4 of a mile i hit 168mph on the digital tach and all i see in the rearview is a tiny speckle of light emitting from those cheap purple halogens lol.
After slowing down for the bridge ramp he does the ricer-fly by and almost crashes into the washington heights exit lol.

Curious as to what work you had done to the car, performance wise. Even in stock trim, the W220 is deceptively quick. But approaching a buck seventy on the FDR is a stupid move, especially since traffic can come up out of nowhere; you do not need to go all out to ditch a tailgater.

yea your right about how stupid it is to drive that fast on the FDR. But it was the last stretch on the FDR and there was only 2 cars on the road me and that maxima that i smoke.

yea i picked up some really nice gains.
And the sound is amazing.....it sounds better then my friends 04 s55 amg and my other friends 05 e55.
When i start the car up it sounds so sweet and then it gurgles.. its crazy lol.
Plus i got the Headers and SL55 camshafts that are going in then another ECU tune so im hoping to be around 385-400hp and over 400TQ.
Plus its 4matic- so this thing off the line is really quick
And the sound is amazing.....it sounds better then my friends 04 s55 amg and my other friends 05 e55.

it wasnt the 09 it was the the 05-08 model.
Plus even if the new one gets 290hp it still has 250ish torque which is nothing compared to my soon to be 400+.
Bottom line its a Maxima,, might me alittle quick off the line but after 60 its bye bye lol.
