Come to Columbus then and we'll do the same pull that I did with him. Obviously I don't know the guy and I don't know his driving capabilities but I could tell that he knew how and when to shift...

I ran a GTO on the interstate a few months back. I gave him a solid jump and put a couple of buslengths on him from about 80-130 +/-. It was blacked out and really sounded good when he nailed it.

compared to the SLK32. E55 is in a different league . I have seen people run 14 sec with bone stock GTOs and a few manage to run 12s . I am just waiting on the twins setup and it will be game over for many cars.

As long as there's ZERO traffic ahead, I'll let any car within reason have a go if they want it, as you never know what they may have done to their car. I've beaten a few Mustang Cobras that wanted to play and then had one walk away from me like I had left the parking brake on, so there's never any guarantee and its all just in fun.

I agree , a cooworker of mine has the new GT500 and I believe he upgraded the the supercharger to kenne bell and he puts down 600+ rwhp ( I dont know the exact figure) I can get him till 70 mph or so becuase he has massive traction issues but then he flies by.

This was from a roll, so look at trap speeds, not ETs.
Further supports the fact IF OP is stock it's unlikely he could come from behind on a roll and then put 2 CLs to 100mph on a 6.0. Unless the 6.0 was an automatic? Or couldn't shift? Beat the driver?

You can likely put 7k in an old Pinto and decimate that same GTO for about $29,500 less. We're fortunate to have so many options to get the optimal balance of performance & luxury within whatever budget we might each have to work with.

I can buy a used 2300lb civic for $2k and drop $8k into the engine to make it a 600whp highway monster. Big deal.
You can only really compare stock for stock when it comes to speed. When your comparing modded car to modded car, it the person who usually dumps the most money that wins.

the 04 brakes were horrible on the GTO's 05-06's are way better. but what im saying is when some1 bought a brand new AMG in 06 what was the price and the Hp/Tq #'s?? the GTO was 30k and it came with 400 horses there;s no other car you can buy new for that cheap..

+1 i will agree im just saying its like compareing apples and oranges of course a new E63 amg is gonna smoke a gto but if you throw it into its own price catageory it will be with a z06 Vette, Shelby GT500 KR, Nissan GT-R, and more of the expensive cars..
