C32 vs 03 Cobra
I was headed home from work(in Mexico) and see a Silver Cobra behind me about two car lengths in the left hand lane. So I use my old sucker them in trick and jump on it for a second and mash brakes. Sure enough about 5 seconds later here he comes trying to get next to me. I move over and allow him next to me and this thing sounds mean as hell. So I gear down and he gears down and we kind of just hit it at the same time, To my surprise my little C32 starts to very slowly pull on him till we had to hit the brakes for traffic. Race two more times from 50-100mph with the same results, I wasnt getting him by much more than half a car length to a car length but it was a good feeling to edge him out. Tried to race him a fourth time but he did the old I have a phone call cant race you no more trick.

03 Cobra??? 
Maybe a 99 or 01 Cobra?
I had a 99 Cobra Vert, and I used to beat my friends stock c32 from a dig.
I had pullies, catback exhaust, short shifter, and a short ram intake.
I test drove a 04 vert cobra and that thing was much faster than my 99.

he could have definitely raced a s/c cobra and pulled a half car to a car. his c32 isnt stock. it has renntech pullies and a custom LET tune. pullies and tune (especially the LET tune) is good for more than you think.
and what point are you trying to make comparing your 99 cobra vert with pullies, catback exhaust, and ram intake? you are modded, he wasnt, so you had the advantage.....in THIS case, the C32 was modded and perhaps the cobra was not (or maybe it was, though not likely) and so the C32 had the advantage.

Since they only come in 6spd manual, I guess he could of sucked at driving too, GOOD RUN! Ive seen a droptop cobra run 12.0x at the track tho with just drag slicks.

No disrespect to 3232c! Didnt know those two mods could make such a difference! But yeah the 03-04 cobra comes down to the driver, ive seen identical ones at the test and tune vary a full second in 1/4mi times.

Sorry I stepped out for a minute on this. If a stock 03-04 Cobra runs lets say 12.50 at elevation your going to be running mid to low 13's at 4400 feet elevation(here). My car has run a best of 13.60 @ 103 mph at the track when its was 90+ degrees out. I thought we was driving his car to full potential but who knows? But after 3 runs I think he knew he couldnt beat me. And it didnt hurt that it was 45 degrees out when we raced.

Stock S/C Cobras run 12.8-13.2 @ 108-112. This makes them slightly faster than a stock C32, and a good contest for a modded C32.
Again, we are talking about a STOCK 2003+ Cobra. A STOCK 2003+ Cobra is very unlikely to run a sub-12.5 quarter, unless it has a very strong tailwind (i.e., a hurricane).
Now, obviously, if you mod the Cobra, swap out the S/C, bump the boost up to 15, catbacks, etc. you are going to have a 10 or 11 second BEAST. However, we are talking in this thread about a STOCK 2003+ Cobra.
