How did your M3 fair against the CL55?

I'd say we were dead even. I did pull a lil up top. I'm not sure if the guy was modded or not. His car was slammed though with nice wheels.

I'm not stock though.

Nice. What speeds did you start from and go to?

I have Drop in filter, Pulley, Stage 1 software and exhaust. Its a 6-speed manual. I'm getting my stage II software in about an hour.

How does it compare to your CL65?

Jon Martin: Like the way you think with the 335-->M3 and 55-->65 upgrades.

honestly, i would prefer the 335i and the 65 rather than the M3 and the 65. Ik ik, call me crazy. Just my opinion. Either way, you can't really go wrong with either of those four cars.

Well since I've owned two highly tuned 335's I can say without a doubt the M3 is better. And faster once modded right too Even worse once boosted!

Well...I have seen some 335s that were highly tuned running into the 11's at the 1/4 mile track. Are you saying that your M3 is faster than that? The funny thing with twin turbo cars is that they don't have quite the sensation of speed that a high rev'ing engine has.

There is maybe 1 or 2 335s around that can do that and they're tuner cars with tons of $$ in mods or stripped interiors.Someone I know got a 12.1 at 115mph with the same mods I have and a lesser tune. Bottom line it would take a 335 with VP109 and bunch of mods to give me a good run. But in the end. The 335 might maybe be faster in the 1/4 due to torque but after that its not problem I'm sure a 60-130 in my car vs an "11 second" 335 is no problem for my M3 at sea level. Also the S/C kits are coming out I just saw two today alone (I'm in Vegas for Mfest). The most powerful 335 currently is the ASR tuned 335 with upgraded turbos making 536whp on 104 octane + Meth injection. The weakest s/c available is 550whp on 91 at 6psi so with that said the M3 is def better. If it wasnt I wouldn't have bought it and believe me I was skeptical at first.
