Atlanta street race results in two deaths.
About two weeks ago there was a Camaro/Firebird convention at the Marriott in north Atlanta right off of 75N. There's an access road four lanes beside 75 and right in front of Marriott. Police had been called in early evening that people were drag racing on the access road....police came by and saw conventioneers sitting in lawn chairs facing the access raod......everybody played dumb and the the police gave a warning.
Two hours later two Camaros were drag racing and one launched into the air and hit an 18" thick steel interstate light pole (right in front of Marriott) about eight feet high up ( I drove by and saw marks). Both men inside were killed immediately (one decapitated)......the one man had two children and was from NC, he was 26....the other was newly married with no children and also from NC.
Why can't people go the "grudge" matches at NHRA sanctioned dragstrips and do things safely?

Some kid in a Corvette just died last thursday night after the race hangouts here in Miami....lost control of the vette and crashed right into a pole!!! Lots of ppl in Miami take this street racing crap to an extreme extent where they endanger their own lives as well as other ppl....its sickens me to live here now!!!!

it's not that racing is bad. you know everyone has done it before, you would just never think that it could happen to you or someone around you that's why people race.
