E55 vs Mustang Roush 2

Yesterday my son and I had a hai cut, on the way back I spot this guy on a very nice looking (late model) silver mustang ahead of me, I go aside and check him out, Nice chrome wheels, side exhausts, plus body work and Rouse 2 badge on the rear. I thought it was a nice car.
There was a lot of trafic (two loaders were moving huge pieces of machinery for a refinery or someone), so I took another route, the mustang followed, this was a 2 way road and he was going left and right (like warming up the tires), at the light it opens to divided road 2 lanes each side, he pulls next to me and at the green we both punch it, take off was where he couldn't do much I immediatelly gained about 2 cars (may be 1 1/2 cars) and kept the same distance from him till about 100 which is when I led off the gas (mainly because my son was with me, all excited about the race too ).

We both make a few turns into streets into the same neighborhood, I honked at him and waved, we stopped and talk about the car and the race. He was amazed he couldn't catch up with me but not surprised I pulled at take off, he was telling me that he sent the car to Roush (Mustang ports tuner) and had the second stage installed (all is left is 3rd stage which includes a super charger), he has interior, exterior and engine mods, very nice mods

When we said good by he said, "thanks for kicking my butt" , turns out he lives 2 block away from me, next time I go to the track he is bringing his car too.

God did I miss my car all this time!!!

Really good.

Also great that everything turned out friendly, since he's so close.

Are you gonna let your son drive next time?

Thanks.
Hope to get more soon

My son can't drive the car on the street, just in and out the driveway while sitting on my lap

Fast Cars!
Nice kill. My friend has a 2001 Stage 3 Roush mustang convertible. Very nice for a mustang, the chrome wheels body kit, and side pipes are cool. He kills me.:p He ran a 13 flat about a month ago at the track. So if u ever race one of those u will still be with it.

When you said outside, did you mean out in Katy? Lots of room to play in that area...

1998 Mercedes benz S-420 supercharged with high boost pulley and exhaust system and many more
my roush experience

I test drove the stage 2 and 3 when I turned 16. They both sounded amazing but I didnt think the stage was worth the price or praise. It had to much of a touchy clutch and gas pedal. But the stage 3 on the other hand was an amazing car.. You have got to race one or on the other hand test drive one for yourself.. tell me what you think if you find one..
