What's faster Bmw 330 or S430??

0-60, I would say 330. cause my bro 330xi(auto tranny, blown my C320 badly(sold), 0-60), Imagine if it was 330i, lighter. and I think, s430 is about the same or slower compare to the C320.
On freeway, probably the 430 with v8 still can keep up maybe faster. but, 0-60mph? especially the old with 5 speed auto tranny, nope. If the 7speed G-tronic, I don't know, I have not try that one.
Just my opinion.

A C320 is about 7 sec.
I think a BMW 330 6 speed with a pro driver is something like 6.5, so with the average driver the Benz gets the edge (if my times are right).
One thing to note, the Benz will be smooth and quiet, the BMW will be noisy with interior rattles, lol.

hmm was i dreaming or was it real? i raced a 330 with my 500 SE euro benz and beat him. lol it probably wasent fair since the road had some traffic and i took shoulder haha but he followd rite behind. The 330 didnt seem thatttt fast, i was shocked in my opinion it was pretty slow.

S430 is faster. I'm in SFBA, does somebody want a race? I borrowed my friend's '03 330. I wasn't excited neither performance, neither quality of ride. I like 330 look, but not driving.

i've recently been in 4 or 5 e36's 328i 94-95 models while looking for a car for a friend and there weren't any rattles what so ever. It depends on how well the car is looked after in many cases and mileage.
As for the original posts
s430 205kw 1855kg = 9.05kg/kw 0-100km/h = 7.9 1/4mi = 15.8
330ci 170kw 1490kg = 8.76kg/kw 0-100km/h = 6.6 1/4mi = 14.8
taken from wheels magazine
looking at pure numbers the 330ci is likely swifter with a manual atleast. With an auto pretty close i would think.
As for the original posts
