2000 ML55 AMG Black on Black
I have the 93 octane program and I can feel a difference. It's not night and day, but definitely an improvement. Everything is pretty straightforward with this modification. The only snag that I hit was when I re-installed my ECU after getting it back. For some reason I had to install it twice since the first time I re-installed it, there must have been a loose plug and the truck wouldn't start up. I took the ECU out and re-installed it a second time and it started right up.
It's pretty intuitive the way the plugs insert and lock in to the ECU, but pay careful attention and memorize how everything comes apart. It may also take you an extra few seconds to figure out how the slide lock works on some of the larger harness plugs, but once you do, you could re/re the ECU in a few minutes.
One last note, overall I'm not sure that it's really worth the money. $1000 is a lot of dollars for <10% more power and more expensive gas. If it was only $400 it'd be a no-brainer.

Not to criticize any other tuners but our testing involves track and on the dyno before we actually have a dialed in software for each engine; including the 350.
Evotech software for the 350 engine is $995.
