2005 ML350 Special Edition
The '05s look exactly like the '04s, I think. Very nice. You sure you don't want to wait for the '06s? I hear they look quite different from '98-'05.

The '05 is exactly the same as the '04, which is the same as the '03. The next-gen ML will be unveiled in January and will be released to dealers around April, as a 2006 model.

Is there another M-Class than the ML? If there isn't, why is it called the M-Class and not the ML-Class?

Oh crap, I meant the '06. The '06 I hear will be released around March. That is what I hear from my people over at Mercedes (GM's, etc.)

I saw a picture of it, looks like the BMW SUV and the volvo SUV. Maybe a hint of Porche.

No - the ML's are the M-Class. I don't think there's a particular reason, other than the fact that M-Class sounds better than ML-Class, and ML500 sounds better than M500, etc.

Well none of the photos available to date are real photos of the uncovered car - you'll see some spy shots, photoshopped spy shots, and then just outright photoshops. Check out the thread I linked above.

SL500 E320 ML350
Keep in mind that the '06 ML will be more carlike (unibody) vs truck (body on frame). If you never go off road and like the Lexus type ride look the '06 over. If you want a true SUV go for an '05. Good deals to be had now. I'm picking up my '05 ML350 tomorrow.

Sorry, but that's just incorrect. The Chrysler Pacifica has nothing whatsoever to do with the W164 M-Class. Nothing at all.

It has already been established here that they don't share much. I was mostly mislead by my dealership. Pardon me for being naive. Except a picture was posted with both vehicles side by side and it was agreed that they shared some exterior design elements, such as the front headlights, etc.

What is a GST?
