The 2007 CDI and ML packages are up on the Kelley Blue Book site. No pricing yet.

There must be a way I can buy/bring a new CDI into CA w/o having to deal with the 700 miles limitation BS??

If you really want to be sad, take a look at the MB UK web site and check out the torque/fuel economy for the ML CDI. That efficiency is what's being denied CA, NJ, etc.

You are right, it has to be 7500 miles to be considered used. I have an idea on how to bypass that process, wanna see if anyone has other ideas.Originally Posted by TPAbnz

I will have my aunt in NV buy the car, put 7500 miles on it and then have her "sell" it to me. Technically that should work....

I just finalized the order for the 320 CDI that has been on record with the dealer since July 2005. It will be a 2007 and may be in by September.
The dealers only have limited information on the cars but it appears that there are less options, only 3 packages that blow up the price. No word on price, I have commitment for MSRP as they and I think the CDI will be a very HOT seller as gas is close to $3.00.
Would be happy to share order specs if anyone wants.

Tell me! I am very interested to know. Totalled my ML a couple of weeks ago, waiting for ML diesel to go live....
