Well, the final one is in the WSA area. Its inspected 7 times before it leaves the trim side of the shop then 4 more times on final side. Ive never pulled that cord(since I dont work on Final 4 were this pic was taken) but Ive pulled one just like it on Trim 6

Sounds like you've only pulled the cord once! You must be perfect or letting stuff slide by . Just kidding

Just before it.
I pull the cord once or twice a rotation sometimes and sometimes none at all. Its pretty smooth on the last trim line because most of the things that arent right are already caught and I usually fix stuff myself if I can or have time to. If not I let my team leader know about it and he/she fixes it. You working on an assembly line can probably relate lol....

2014 ML350 BlueTec.
Hey "V"...
The area underneath where the chrome piece sits above the licence plate...The two outer corners, eventually, over time(will bend in slightly and start rubbing on the painted surface)...l thought, they started to add some rubber cushioning back there, but not sure........l've always experience bubbling in this area.....Always covered under warranty, but still a nusense.....

So the chrome handle strip is curling in slightly and rubbing the paint on the liftgate itself and rusting that spot. I will look and see whats up on that, the handle strip is installed in my area.
