Ml350 2010 humming noise when radiator fan plugged in

Hi all,

I read up on some humming noises here but was unable to find one that matched my problem.
I recently replaced my radiator fan and as soon as I plug the socket into it I hear a humming electrical noise that comes from the center of the engine. As soon as I unplug it again it stopped. But as soon as I plug it in it comes back on right away.

Any ideas? I was wondering if it was a relay but didn't know what fuse or relay controls the radiator fan.
Its linked for sure to the radiator fan that I'm 100% sure. And the fan and ac work great again.

Thank you.

Remove the plastic eng. cover and see what is making the noise.

Of course, t
It's hard to pin point the noise but it seems like it's coming from around the fuel pump area. I only heard it click off once but then it comes back on again. Its non stop.
But again as soon as I unplug the radiator fan it stops.

Then you probably bought an aftermarket fan which can have wiring problems.

What do you mean? What kind of issues could it have inverter connectors or something?

Compare it to your old one wire for wire.
