I don't get the love affair with the Evoque and its hideous styling. That thing must have a blind spot from hell.

Mercedes-Benz ML350
Actually, the Evoque was my choice before I started looking at the ML - I believed the price of the ML350 was more than I wanted to spend.

Then I sat in the ML350....if you could have sex with a car....I had a one night stand with the ML

Most people will agree the Evoque does NOT have hideous styling, but it is a POS, as are all Land Rovers. I had a Freelander (predecessor to the LR3) which turned me so strongly against the brand, I replaced it with a ::cough:: Toyota.

The skinny rear quarter windows seem over the top to me as in some designer's attempt of form way over function. How is it possible to even look out those things? The rest of the truck does not look too bad, but the rear looks like it was squashed or something.

I noticed two things during my C-Coupe test drive [as compared to aforementioned Toyota]:
- significantly less headroom
- moderately reduced side/rear visibility
So...while I hear you about form over function, I am not canceling my order. ;-)

Damn right the Coupe is TIGHT AS HELL. :-) Now, what about the Acura ZDX?

Do you think it's uglier than the Evoque?

After having another look, I might co-sign on the Land Rover looking downright stupid from the rear.

I really like te evoque. Not for me, since it doesn't fulfill what we need but being and Audi guy I really like its styling. Didn't think about visibility, but it probably is really bad.
