Dual zone climate? What if you only want 1 zone...
The ML has 2 temperature dials, and I've noticed that some cars have a "zone" button on the right that (I presume) makes them operate as one -- so if you adjust the temp on the left, the right follows suit.
I don't have a zone button in my current ML. Is there any way to make the temperatures operate as one zone, so I don't have to adjust both of them?

In the US, only cars with the 3-zone climate control option get the zone button which links/unlinks the 3 different zones to the driver's temp. Without the zone button, you have to adjust each zone separately - no way to link them.

Strange? In Australia, the two zone Thermatic auto climate control also has the Zone button. This is standard equipment on all models with the Thermotronic 3 zone a $1450 option.

Another example of US-spec cars vs rest of the world. Per the pics in the owner's manual, the zone button comes standard on Canada cars too. Just not in the US. We also don't get the REST button which I think recirculates heat or something like that.

Has anyone had a fluttering sound come out the back vent when u set the heater to all vents manually(defrost,middle vents and feet vents)? I have a 2013 ml350 and it does it on mine. Its pretty loud so youll notice it right away. Its in the shop so i got a 2013 250c loaner and it doesnt allow me to set all three vents on the 250c. I read the ml manual and it says that feature is only for canada mbs. Anyone have any suggestions or input? I appreciate it...

I just got the ml350 back last night and they said they normalized or synched the a/c motor with another motor that is used for the vents/blower. They were outta synch so the vent was flapping which was making the noise. I played with it last night and didn't hear the fluttering sound. Hopefully it is fixed....
