New ML500 Owner **Some Questions**
Hi Everyone,,
My name is Mo from Middle East. I have recently purchased a used 2013 Mercedes Ml500 only 8k (kilometers) and I loved it. Been a lexus GS owner for almost 5 years and let me tell you that I will never go back to Lexus (unless they start producing turbo engines). The difference is huge the ML is so much alive and has great power compared to my lazy (228hp) lexus GS :P
Here are some pics for the car
I'm planning to do some mods to the car.
I really hate the way they hide the exhaust so Im planning to either buy an after market exhaust or install the ML63 exhaust but that would cost me very much I think. What do you guys suggest me??
Also I found there are some good Performance tuning box for the car. Did anyone try it? and how was it? Found Brabus exhaust and tuning box on their website but they cost an arm and a leg.
Any other suggestions would really appreciate them. Thanks

I have a 13' ML550 with 25k miles on it. I recently installed the renntech sport mufflers and am pretty happy with them. I was sick of having the most silent 400+hp suv on earth. They bark on start up and sound pretty great while driving. To give you an idea, the last time I picked my kids up from school I parked, tapped the throttle and the man next to me asked with a smile if I had a 454 put in. The renntech ecu is next.

I would love to do that very much. But I would have to send my ECU to them to tune it which is really uncomfortable to do. Thats why I was asking about any tuning box if anyone tried it since it is "plug&Play"
plus my dealer may suspend the warranty if they new i played with the ECU.

I will work on making a sound clip and yes those are the mufflers. As far as the ECU goes, a dealer nearby is installing it for me and I'll get a loaner car while it's being sent out... Before I have it done I'm going to sit down and discuss any warranty issues.
