AC vent control lights and rear door puddle lights not working on 2013 ML350 Bluetec
I have a 2013 ML350 Bluetec, the rear door puddle lights are not working and the AC vent control lights on the dash and back of the center console are not lighting up. I've checked fuses but have not been able to find anything that's burned out. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

To Dr. Wolf's point, do you have the Ambient Lighting package? If not, you're SOL like me thinking these lights should be standard . I even pulled the reflector out of my drivers side door thinking for sure the puddle lamp was burnt out. Nope. Not even a wiring harness for it there. (I do not have the 876 Ambient Lighting package).

I went thru the same exercise with my '15 Blutec. Wife's '12 C250 has puddle lights in all 4 doors, plus AC vent dials illuminate, but my ML did not.

Pulled my rear lens off, could not believe it's just a reflector, no wiring.
How does a $66,000 MB not have lights in the rear doors? About the only option my car doesn't have is ambient lighting; massaging seats, heated/cooled Auburn leather, bi-zion lights, panoramic roof, etc.. Thanks for all the information gentlemen.

its a lesson that most first time, or second time ML owners will realize that if they want specific packages they will need to do homework, know what car comes with what and you'll know for next time
