ECO Mode Default to OFF Position - ML350 Bluetec W166 - Possible?
Hello. I want to change the ECO function to be in The OFF position by default. Is this possible?
I would appreciate the option to switch it ON if required, but I would like the default position starting to be OFF.
I believe the ECO function is a waste of resources in my situation. Thank you.

That maybe the case in Europe/UK/AUS, but not the case in US, the Bluetec's in the US at least the 2014 do not have ECO Button

My 2012 Gas version doesn't have Eco or an Eco button.
I do know Australian cars are specced very differently (read much higher spec) than most Countries and this explains why they cost so much down here.

You're assuming what you see is available in a US model is applicable in all countries and that is a false assumption. Just because the US models have ECO mode for the gasoline engine does not mean they are available in WR. Model features for WR is not always the same as the US. Manufacturers must make variations in their vehicles to accommodate either government regulations or local market preferences.
