EGR valve help
Hello all, i am helping my friend solve an issue with her 2015 ML350 bluetec.
car is throwing a 245B code, took to indy shop who said the EGR valve is failed.
I replaced it myself (not a fun job), but still throwing 245B code.
any help is welcome and appreciated.

Maybe because the fault code is not about EGR Valve, it's about EGR cooler....

Can anyone help me locate the parts diagram for this car? When i go to the mercedes website, it doesnt have any information on the engine or the emissions systems (which is what i am looking for). feeling like an idiot i cant find it, but any help is welcome.
specifically, i am trying to find the location of part 642 140 2508 - any help on how to replace it is appreciated, thank you gents.

Thank you for the reply, I appreciate your help.
the mechanic’s diagnosis was “Diag revealed faults 154900, 19F400 for EGR cooler bypass malfunction. Tested EGR cooler valve and found the diaphram will not hold a vacuum / EGR cooler bypass valve will need replacement”
Then goes on to list the parts as 642 140 25 08 and 000 500 32 01. I replaced 000 500 32 01, and now trying to find location of 642 140 25 08. I am assuming that needs to be replaced as it gets coked up? Cant you just clean it?
of course i accidentally replaced the EGR valve too.
Any thoughts are welcome and appreciated.

Sometimes, very rare, the 642 140 25 08 can be found like squeezed, sucked by a aggressive vacuum, but this is very visible....I don't think that need to be exchanged at all. Anyway if you insist to change 6421402508, a lot of parts need to be exchanged as well, like screws, gaskets, ....

Thank you again.
Its seems unlikely that little pipe would collapse, its pretty stout but will check.
so, the mechanic also said 000 500 3201 needed to be replaced, i did that but still throwing a 245B code.
Do you think it’s the switching valve (part 20 as you note?). Do you happen to have the part number for that.
Thank you very much.
