M275 Spark Advance at idle

I'm always amazed at how little timing out M275's run, but I believe they are around 10-12* at idle. I'll look at mine on the way home in a couple hours and report back.

Do you have a tune, or stock? They probably don't mes with the idle maps much, but it's worth taking note of. I will check what my tuned S600 is idling at as well, will be interesting to see if there's a difference from Matt.

I also logged around 14 degrees at wot. My intake temps are a little high so I think I have an air lock in intercooler circuit. Confirmed pump is working though.
I am running stock ecu program. At idle my advance is 8 or so right now. This even when I take temps r reasonable.

There isn't much timing in idle maps on any car, it's not needed. Advance rises with rpms assuming light load. Once the load goes up the timing goes back down on a boosted car.
10 degrees is a nice normal idle reading on most cars. 6-15 can be expected as the car maintains a nice smooth idle and compensates for atmospheric conditions and such.
