I'm in search of a mint, low mileage 03-06 S55 AMG. I'll consider a S500 only if it has the AMG sport trim package. I have a 2010 GLK, black/black with ~145k miles that I could include as part of a trade + ca$h on my end but trade not necessary. I have ca$h in hand for the right vehicle. I'm located in the greater SF Bay Area.
I know it's not black, but it's pretty cool. I am thinking about selling my 2003 S55 AMG Designo with 127k miles. It is in Everest Green and have confirmed with MB USA that there are under 10 of these made in this color (they apparently don't have production numbers on vehicles produced in fewer quantities than 10). I have only owned it for a little less than a year and am selling it due to reprioritizing things in life. During the 8-10 months of ownership I have done a TON of meticulous work to the car, going over it with my typical OCD fine toothed comb, covering numerous big ticket items/repairs as I had originally planned on keeping the car indefinitely.

I know I am forgetting items that have been replaced and am purposely leaving out the small, annoying things done that make the difference. The only thing left to sort out on the car is the interior. The previous owner unsuccessfully attempted to dye the interior black. I've been quoted $1300 to replace the dyed sections with Nappa leather sections that match the OEM grain, butI just never got around to it. Fortunately none of the perforated sections were dyed or it would be more. I am asking $14k for it.
Gorgeous color, never seen one in the flesh and definitely would be a contender eventhough it's not black. I see you are on the opposite side of the country though and I'm particular about seeing a car in the flesh before buying it. GLWTS
