Maybach seen in person!
I must say, this is definately the good life! Absolutely phenomenal! The damn engine compartment was bigger than my coupe. The inside was so nice I almost started crying. Unfortunately, the sales sticker was still on.....$377,000.00. To top that off, the service guy said the owner paid another $65,000.00 to have it flown out to have it in time for Christmas. I must say, I'm thinking about burning my MBA and becoming a chauffer.
Can someone say Kodak moment? I've learned my lesson and now keep my camera in the car...sorry guys!
The car is HUGE.
So I took my car to get serviced at Calabasas Motor Cars in CA and there was a brand spanking new Maybach sitting in the service drive thru. After drooling for about 10mins, the service guy decided to really depress me and show the inside as well as underneath the hood!

Big deal... This thing implies that you sit in the back, driven by a chauffeur. What's the fun in that?

$65K to have to air freighted? I think he probably meant $6500? I've had a few high end exotics air frieghted from Europe in the neighborhood of about $7k.
Nope, it was 65k, I remember because I felt nacious when he told me...:o
Why do they call it Maybach instead of MB?
Niche business dictates the rules.

I remember vraa telling me that Maybach is a company of itself. Think MB supplied them financially...so today we have the Maybach.
The MB dealer near my home might become a Maybach dealer in Janurary.
