Hid Lighting Help
hey guys i was wondering i have a cls500 with the regular lights, now my question is if i purchase the complete xenon lights with the whole headlight will this be a direct plug in or will i have to modify??? also does anyone know th part # of the xenon headlight??

You would probably be better off trading the car on one with xenon lights- they are huge money think $1300 a piece), and they are not a plug in- the xenon cars have a bunch of different features (like headlight washers and auto leveling) and the SAMs, etc may have to be replaced, if they can't be re-coded.
There are aftermarket kits out there that will do this conversion though.

Not sure where the guys got them, but there are aftermarket kits- we have a few cars that have them, and they seem to work all right. They are most definately NOT MB xenon, I was hoping I might see one today so I could get a name off one of the control units, but no luck.Try googling, maybe??

Hey 06 CLS, if u wanna see what the aftr market HID kit would look like and the beam pattern, check out my pics over at the CLS 55 AMG thread. I also have an after market HID kit with Philips 5000K D2S bulbs and ballast.

Sorry Guys,
I wasn't very clear in my earlier post. I already have the OEM bizenon headlights, I just can't figure out if there is someone that makes an adaptor to get them into an 00' S430 that did not come equipted with zenon. Specifically, does anyone know how to wire the headlights back into the cars wiring harness? Or does anyone have the wiring diagram?

Try Steve @ www.MBENZNL.com re the Lights he can get them for a LOT less than the Dealers..and they are OE mercedes lights
They are a direct replacement..then version code the car to Xenon PRESENT VIA the SDS aka MB STAR

I've got the plugs and connectors but I don't know what wire colors plug into what. Specifically, the second connector with the three pinouts - how/where are they wired back into the wiring harness? And do I have to change around pinouts on the main connector? If so, which ones/colors?
