Weird noise from the engine? GLC 43 AMG

Hi,I bought a 2018 GLC43 AMG about two weeks ago. I've noticed several times that the engine – or something near it – is making strange noises. To me, it kind of sounds like it could be related to a vacuum line or something similar. However, the noise doesn’t occur all the time.

Has anyone experienced something like this or have any idea what could be causing it?

Common, pressure transducer.

Good job catching this so clearly. This is a standard issue with most modern engines.

Does it stop when you open the oil filler cap?

The sound is from high blow-by pressure opening PCV diaphragm. The diaphragm is working... not busted.
Regardless, any specialist will jump at replacing PCV breather.

It may prevent noise but condition will remain untouched.

The underlaying condition is high crankcase blow-by. That's caused by drafty cylinders.

Hi! Thanks a lot for your reply. As W205 already mentioned, quite a few people have reported that replacing the pressure transducer helped. But you're absolutely right — I’ve also noticed the noise tends to show up more often after some spirited driving.

I haven’t opened the oil filler cap yet.

What would you do in my situation? Do you think replacing the pressure transducer is worth a try, considering so many people say it helped?

I say replace and monitor, other than that, forum members CaliBenzDriver's recommendations are solid and worth looking into.

Do the simple "oil filler cap" test... see if relieving crankcase pressure stops the noise.

The "transducer" thingy sounds like it is a solenoid vacuum actuator. When this opens it also affects pressure...

The bottom line is high crankcase blow-by pressure.

does anybody know if faulty pressure transducer can cause any problems with the throttle or turbo responding correctly?

I've been to the dealers service center twice already to have the transducer replaced from this common buzzing noise and now their mechanic claims this happens to all turbo engines and they will not fix it this time. Acceleration from 0 or low speeds feels a bit delayed at times but not sure if this has to do with the car not responding instantly.

Plus check engine light never came on so it's harder to have an argument with them to fix this issue. any advice?
