FS: 2003 E55 AMG, Techtite Grey, low miles, warranty until 2012
For sale is my 2003 E55 AMG, Techtite Grey with 41k miles. The Craiglist add with pictures is attached...

The vehicle has a full CPO warranty for 3 years, until January of 2012 or 100k miles... with that warrranty I would like $36,000 OBO for the car. If you would like the car with only the 1 year CPO until January of 2010 or 100k, then I would like $32,000 OBO for the car. Those extra 2 years cost me $4995, so I am willing to eat $1,000 if you wnat the extra 2 years... which I think is very important on these cars.
Besides the usual E55 AMG options, this car has the following:
Bi-xenon headlamps
Heated and Ventilated Seats
Parktronic
Keyless Go
Rear Sunshade
Chromed Wheels
Interior lighting
Dark grey interior with Burlwood trim (looks beautiful)
Also, has had the recent service including new brakes and New Michelin Pilot Sport Extra load ( PS2) tires with less than 1500 miles on them. The intercooler pump and supercharger pulley have been upgraded by MB.
This vehicle is mint, inside and out... Was bought locally at Mercedes Benz of El Dorado Hills, California and always serviced there... full records available. Never any accidnets or body work/repairs. Truely a nice example with low mileage and warranty intact.

The first year comes with the car when you buy a CPO car. I bought 2 additional years for a total of 3. I can cash in the 2 years and get my money back. Rather than doing that now, I want to be able to offer those two years to the new owner because if not, once the 1 year is up, I am not sure if it is possible to buy additional warranty. So if someone doesn't want the other 2 years of warranty, I will sell the car for much less and just cash the other two years in and recover my money.

Guys, I've seen this car in person many times and ridden in it as well. I can vouch that it is as clean and mint as you will find anywhere. The car runs flawlessly and is very strong. Garage kept every night just like a little creampuff should be. Bump for a great seller.

Bump... anything wrong? ... the warranrty thing seem wierd? I thought it would be good to preserve it for the next owner rather than just cash it in and lose it... Feedback? Price etc.?

Thanks for the input... but around here... '06's are in the high $40's and they usually have pretty high miles... mine has very low miles for an '03 and at least 1 year of CPO warrnaty and 3 years if you want it...

Full Meguires professional detail etc...

Wow.. hard to beleive that no one would jump on a mint, CPO car, in a desireable color with low miles for under $30k... for anyone who is interested... make a reasonable offer....... thanks...

I would suggest getting your money back for the warranty and selling the car for mid to low 20's while you can. The prices will continue to drop. The new E will be here soon.
05's and some 06's are now going for less than 30k at auction.
Or, keep the car and be happy.

Well - It looks like the extended part of the warranty will be cashed in... but I would still like to keep it around 'in case' the buyer wants it... as to the price... I;d rather not get into that debate...
