Someone just put a deposit on the car today when I called about it. Is it anyone from this forum?

Saw and drove it yesterday. Decent car, but needs some TLC. It was also mentioned on this thread earlier this year.

When it was listed for sale earlier in the year the color was specified as Desert Silver Metallic.

BTW the E63 wagon in Kenosha WI is available. I just talked to Walter and we were working on a deal but they are very firm on their price.

I was also talking to Walter and they are not willing to have MB dealership do a PPI. That was a deal breaker for me.

No VIN info. It's an E55 asking $26,999 from private seller with 89k miles. Looks like the car is in CA. Has this car been posted before?

Don't think it was posted here. Spoke w the seller of that car. Good guy. Car has accident history. Good service history but has been modified. Based on the pics I received it needs some TLC.

That is our own TonyC. You can read his saga purchasing that car in this very thread. Start reading at post 190 or thereabouts. Not sure why he hasn't listed it here, I've seen it posted on another MB forum where I've been known to hang around.

I am sure that is correct, though the VIN is not listed in the other ad I saw either. Given the contact name in the cars.com ad is "Tony", I think we can safely assume it's the same guy and the same car.

Called about the ^ listing and there is a deposit on it.

I emailed yesterday and even called at 7:30 this morning and they already had a local guy on the car. I guess they never even had a chance to get it out on their lot.... lol Dammit, another one slips through the fingers.

Nice car at a great price. These get snagged up very quick & getting harder to find.
I know it would take high 30's for me to let mine go.
