I know this will be next to impossible, but I am looking for a E55 Wagon with any kind of mileage. I'm in SoCal but will consider buying from anywhere.
Any leads are appreciated.

They are hard to find, but well worth the wait. I will let you know if anything comes up. I know there is an E63 wagon on eBay...
They are available but they won't be cheap... Get ready to pay, once you do find one.

she ain't exactly special. I don't see any mention of nav, nasty scratch on RR, Hankook tires, front valance needs touch up, and I don't see any mention of nav. And I wouldn't even make a phone call unless the mileage issue was clear.

From the pics it looks like it has nav, but no parktronic/distronic, keyless or dynamic/cooled seats. The Hankooks look like the V12 Evo, which is a great tire - I run them on my wagon.

all "look" like they have nav, but many don't. I think the seller would have mentioned it. And not knocking the Hankooks, they're just not as spendy as let's say, a set of PS2's. But the mileage issue remains. And without concrete evidence, you will get NO help from Carfax on changing miles.
Looks like it does have NAV because of the RPT button on the headunit. I don't think a car w/o NAV would have this button.

I have been considering selling my black 2006 wagon with every possible option, except for the 3rd row seat.....including extras like folding mirrors, charcoal headliner, and a 2009 Navigation system/upgraded speakers/amps.
I love it, but I just don't use it much. 22,000 original miles; I purchased it from the original owner directly.
Email me if you're interested. I would be looking for $50k, which is a fair bit less than I have in it.....

Actually saw this one on Friday -- not exactly trying to buy it...they have another E55 AMG which I was looking at, going for $29k. Looks like the one in Southport, CT sold. 2 of these estate wagons within 50 miles of my house...

I think that has got to be the same car - it's the same color, same interior, same burl walnut wood option, same number of miles...there can't be two!Originally Posted by unagi1

Car looked well, however I took it for a test drive and the alignment needed to be fixed (car was pulling to the right). The guy also needs to fix Keyless Go (only one handle works, car won't start without fob inserted), shifter paddles, and the battery was low (probably discharged from sitting for too long). Once he gets around to all that, might take a look at it again...Originally Posted by byroll01

I find it hard to justify this kind of number for an E55 wagon. You can buy a pristine AMG sedan in the low 30s these days, and a servicable 210 wagon to carry around your dogs/kids/bicyles/etc. is $10K or $12K. The two car solution keeps miles off the AMG, keeps the AMG un-trashed, and saves a bit of gas money. I can't see paying more for one car...Originally Posted by DoctorV8

Or you can buy 2 low mileage W210 ( a wagon & a sedan) for $15,000 each and buy a honda civic wagon to drive the dogs around and keep the mileage off both AMG's .. Going this route would assure you not only some gas money but will also save you some TACO/MCDONLD change too.Originally Posted by Shadow5501

What baffles me is, people want to buy a rare car with low mileage esp a wagon that's very hard to come by and when one does pop up then they start crying about the price

DO NOT FORGET,YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

There's nothing wrong in questioning the value of a car, IMO -- if due diligence turns out to match the history of the vehicle, then that price tag associated with the car might be better justified. I agree though with regards to the $50k price tag, at that rate it's just better to go out and get a new vehicle.
Guys (not referring to anyone in particular) sort of forget that they will never "break-even" or get "as much as they put into a vehicle". These are cars, not houses...
