Your salesman can check online any time he wants. You will prob need to go to him and grab him by the short & curlies to get him to do it. It only takes a few min though. I was told they are building them in July for August delivery.

I've done alot of bussines with my salesman before I really don't want to bother him. I recived a sheet with all my options that I ordered as well paint code number and wanted to see if I could find a link fo MB codes for my use . As far as July production for for August delivery I dont belive thats correct. Due to the sheet that my sales man fax me it shows all of the ordered ML350 and ML500 which have a build date as of 8/1/06 but the ML 63AMG build date is blank. I'm thinking late August or early September.

I would not worry about "bothering" your salesman, that what he is there for after all. Not to mention, he is going to collect some nice cash for the sale.

If he is not there to assist your sale and your understanding of the car, what exactly is his use ????? If he has no use, buy direct and save the commission.

I'm with Starrman

Although I guess I understand 63's need for the link, not "bothering" the sales rep is ludicrous. Use them. Again, that's what they are there for.

And ... before you ask again, I'll do it for you ... If anyone has the link, send it to this guy and kill the topic alltogether.

Wow! I would have thought that with the 63, the options would have been either standard, or less expensive than the 500. I mean the base price is that much more after all.

Man, you are going to enjoy your new ride!!

I have found distronic to be a PITA when cruise control is not on. Simply flooring it with no other cars around will set the alarm off. You almost think its your radar detector going off. I didn't order it on mine.

scruffy, I didn't see a option code for the lighting package when I spec'ed my ML63. Did you actually select an option when you ordered?

The only options for the ML 63 AMG are Parktronic, Distronic, Keyless Go,
Rear Entertainment and Ipod. Everything else is standard. The reason I know this is due to my salesman is from Germany and work for MB when he lived over there and still has connections.
