***This will be my build thread FYI***

And I love it, so comfortable and practical for me because I don't care one bit about MPG.

I already purchased the AMG side skirts for it since it was ordered with the running boards which I don't care for personally.

Just sent off the ECU to Eurocharged for a tune, still looking for a deal on offroad downpipes!

Anyways here is a picture, as well as the first side skirt installed. Got her home 2 days ago, if someone is interested in the running boards, brackets, and jacking pucks to match let me know.

Yep, not that it gives me much since I'm doing a eurocharged tune but oh well.

Basically the only missing options are rear heated seats, rear window shades, rear entertainment displays, heated steering wheel, and b&o.

Congrats on your new ride. I've had my for almost 2.5 year and its been good to me ever since. The ML63 is a fantastic all rounder in my opinion, so long as you don't skimp on service and yea keep an eye out on fast tyre wear due to the vehicle's weight. lol!

Enjoy my friend

Looks terrific, enjoy it.
How difficult was it to remove the chrome strip and replace the side skirts? Both make a noticeable improvement.

I liked your idea to remove the chrome strip. Did the same, and it makes a nice, subtle difference, especially on a black ML63.

About 10 minutes or so per side to remove the running boards and install the skirts. I was lucky to find a used pair of skirts in my color.

Just blacked out the grill strips, distronic ring, and the running light surrounds. Looks much better! I THINK I'm going to leave the lower lip silver because black would maybe make it look like something is missing down there?

Factory AMG skirts. I don't know why so many dealers or people ordered the ML63 with the running boards.

Did you have to do a wheel alignment after lowering? Do you have a link for the Obsession Links you purchased?

Thanks!

New wheels look the goods! Did you have 21" factory or 20"? I have 21" factory and have been thinking of moving to 20" wheels later on. Did you notice a ride difference?
