LoMo M1 Lowering module

Hello all. Has anyone used the LoMo M1 Lowering Module? If so, how has your experience with ride, handling (positive or negative) been with the product and are there any other drawbacks about the module. I am considering purchasing, but I would like to get some feedback from actual users. I only found one reference to the product in the forum. http://loweringmodule.com/ Thanks.

This is a link to the Carlsson C-tronic Lowering module I had listed in the Marketplace section FS, I have 3 of these and will gladly match the price of the Lomo unit you're looking at.
The Carlsson unit is a proven TUV approved module, allows the car to lower and raise with all the factory functions. These units were almost $1,600US new back in the day, and this unit is specific for the ML 63.
At the end of the day, the tuner parts are always the proven best, Brabus, Renntech, Carlsson etc. They all do extensive testing and have to meet the German TUV standards. If you're interested feel free to pm me.
If not, no hard feelings.

I appreciate the offer. I see the unit recommends only 15mm for the AMG model but I am considering a more aggressive lowering, so I will pass. Thanks

No problem. No hard feelings.
However, they program the lowering to a certain degree because any lower the camber is thrown off and you will get excessive tire wear. So that is something to consider. 👍😎

Good point. Guess I have to do some more research so I can arrive at an informed decision on whether or not to lower. Thanks man.

No problem. The 15mm lowering is noted as recommended due to the camber issue, and the fact that the AMG Version models are already slightly lowered as apart of their performance upgrade compared to a standard non AMG ML W166. The lowering module is the best way to lower these vehicles, the Links are the affordable way of doing it, but the links have been known to cause issues, some don't have any issues at all, and some unfortunately encounter serious issues. The Tuner modules have always been the most expensive, but have always been a Get What You Pay For result with zero issues and complete functionality.
When I worked at Brabus we saw numerous cars with leaky suspensions that were lowered with Links because the system was basically fighting itself, the suspension was programmed to be doing one thing, and the links were holding it to do another and this caused major problems. This was mainly on a lot of the early gen cars when the airmatic and ABC came out, with later models the issues depended on circumstances with certain cars and driving conditions. Anyway, hope the info provided is helpful.

I ended up selling 2 of the 3 units I had and both were sold to Two separate buyers with ML63's. One was in Toronto Canada, and the other was sold to a Tech that worked at an MB dealer dealer back East.
I have one remaining unit left available if anyone is looking. These modules are the absolute best when it comes to function and performance, as well as longevity. PM me if anyone is interested.

These units have the specific plug for the W166, I did in fact sell the last one to a guy in Canada with an S211 but the harness for the W166 was not applicable, I have emailed him this link for him to reach out to sell it? There were only 3 that we brought over and the price I sold these for was way below the original list price, as well as the original cost, so they were priced at a great value.
Thanks for your post and interest.
