Merging W166 (ML/GLE) and X166 AMG Forums?

I am not 100% sure if this has been discussed before or not, but performing a forum search lead me to 0 results.

Do any other members of the forum believe that merging the ML/GLE/GL 63 forums to one would be beneficial for the group? The vehicles are built in the same location and share many similarities. It came to mind when scrolling through the forum lists and I saw that the W166 ML 63, X166 GL63, and GLE SUV/COUPE 63 forums each had 3 members viewing. If we had all 9 members viewing one group it would create more visibility for issues, modifications, concerns, etc.

I am guessing it is up to the admins to merge but for instance the W220 and W221 AMG forum is merged together which I think have less in common than the ML,GL, and GLE.

Thoughts?

Too many to list
I agree with the merger. I hardly ever post in the W166 ML forum because it's dead. A post will go unnoticed for weeks, months with no response.

Admins of the forum, can we make this happen? It will help the visibility for the 166 groups!

@speedlimit @Vic55 @Rock

Admins, sorry for the unexpected tag but you were some of the guys I remembered seeing from new admin announcements.

I was wondering, along with some other forum members, if it would be possible to merge the 166 AMG forums into one single forum. Since the GL, ML, and GLE share similar characteristics it would be beneficial to increase the visibility of these 3 groups by merging them into one. I believe it would increase the interaction of the group, especially within the ML63 and GL63 groups where we don't see much activity.

Please let me know your thoughts on this! Thanks!

I agree with this merge over the recent W166/W167 AMG merger. IMO the 2021 W167 AMG has nothing in common with W166 and X166.

Hello members. I am trying to gain more visibility in my push to try and get the W166/X166 (ML/GLE/GL) forums merged into one group. My thoughts are that the ML/GLE are essentially the same vehicle just with a changed name plate, in regards to the W166. And the GL/GLS is also the same in regards to the X166 chassis code. I believe merging these forums together will increase visibility of issues, conversations, and actions in our respective forums. It will also help old and new members in their search for answers and opinions.

The thread that I started is in the Group suggestions sections of the forum.

Below is the Link:

https://mbworld.org/forums/suggestio...one-forum.html

If you could please comment your thoughts here so that the admins will be able to see that there are many group members that support this; it will greatly help.

Thanks!
