Hello eveybody, my name is Vladimir (I'm from east Europe but have been living in Spain for 12 years now). I have been looking around this site for some time and finally decided to register, so here I am!
I bought a 1988 300CE last year and have been working on it ever since.
The car was "left for dead" in a field for almost 7 years so aesthetically was a mess, paintjob destroyed, interior full of dirt, all windows and rooftop jammed.
She's almost fixed now, just the paintjob and some "minor" bug-fixing left to do (oil change, rear fog light, weather strips, hand brake cable and the gear lever linkages are a bit stuck)

I just bought a 2011 R350 4Matic with 130K on the clock. We did the paperwork, went to dinner and drove home in the dark and the snow. I'm hoping to learn all kinds of things about the car and become a lifelong MB owner.

I need some assistance with 2007 GL 450 Benz
it is completely dead no lights come on nothing on the dash it’s just dead
I took the key out the fob and popped the start button to manually start and that doesn’t work either
I even brought my spare key thinking it was the battery on the key I use
any suggestions or ideas on what this could be or what’s I can do?
I need help locating a Inside Torque Socket that is thin wall for my 2013 C300 4matic. I am wondering if Snap On or Matco would have this. Our local sales reps don't know.
I'm Sean from the Cincinnati area. Not an owner yet, but put a message into the newby forum regarding getting an EIS/key repaired. If I can make this work and not spend more than the car is worth, I'm in. Trying to locate a vendor to do the repair. Many speak of the service, but no one has said they've actually used it. If someone has, I'd be interested in a reference.

Hello, I'm actually purchasing a used vehicle at this time. I'm looking for some comments and recommendations before I decide. The choices are a 2014 S63 with 39k miles or a 2014 E63 S with 24k miles. I'm coming from a 2009 Z06. I'm leaning towards the S63. I had never considered a MB until I had a recent trip to Europe and had to drive 500 km in a 2008 S500. I was a passenger in the rear seat. Cruised effortlessly over 130 mph for most of the 500 Km. I fell asleep. I felt any car engineered that well to make you that comfortable and secure was worth looking in to. The vette is super fast and good handler. I never got it to a track which is probably good for me. More than likely would have turned it into black fiberglass confetti. Sorry if I offended anyone by listing an E63 S as an owned car to sign in. Please forgive me.

Hello from Columbia, SC. First Benz, I have owned two BMW's in the past, so I'm kind of familiar with euro automobiles.
I just bought a low mileage 2014 ML350 W2. Polar white with beige leather heated front and rear seats, Premium 1 package, Driver assist, Parking assist and the light package.
Only 24,243 miles, kept it garaged and it was their 2nd car.
We also have a 2014 F150 Lariat, Super Crew that that we purchased new.
It's loaded with extras, but this ML is crazy cool and way beyond the features of the Ford.

Hello all My name is Tim S we live in western Ky and we have just purchased an 09 GL320 Bluetec. First time mercedes benz owner. I was always told that I could never afford to own a MB but we have taken the plunge. I own an Independent Auto Repair Facility in the small town where we live and can perform my own maintenance and repairs. I have worked on Automobiles most of my adult life on and off so i feel very confident that i am capable of pulling it off. I mean i have the facility to do it in right? so why not. I am a diesel nut and have owned several diesels in the past. currently i own an 05 jeep liberty with the VMMotori diesel in it and have owned two other Ford F250 diesels in the past.
This diesel however is a little bit of a different animal, so we will see. hopefully i will be able to glean some info and knowledge from you kind and generous folks.

Im Mohan, I currently do not own a benz but in the process of buying a C63 AMG. Trying to figure out which one to go with, a 2010 or a 2012. Both are imported from Japan LHD. I'm wondering if anyone can help look up the VINs to see what spec each are especially the LSD option or performance package.
In the past have owned an 03' S320 and currently run an 09 BMW X5 4.8i, and an 09 Mitsubishi Evo X modified for track days and race events.
