I'm really grateful to this forum for the information that it is giving out. I had no idea of the delays, the differences in BIK on various builds of the C350e and so on. I'm really not sure what I am going to do at the moment.

Greetings from Greece,my name is Christos.
Proud owner of a w204 C200 Kompressor Avantgarde edition '08.
Would go for a bigger (in cc) model ,but our goverments here always find ways to surprise us with tax issues and gasoline price,so i walked the safe path of 1800cc.
Nevertheless i dont regret my choice ,its a second hand car with only 58.000 kms ,full service book and a good overall accessories package .
Some modifications already took place:
-tint
-sport suspensions(OEM)
More to come:
-lowering springs 30/30mm (debating which of Eibach, H&R, ST by KW or the OEM's)
-C63 grill
-Rims (still not sure the all around benefits of going from 17-> 18" rather than looks, when our country roads i mostly use ,are full of potholes..)
Already read most of topics, very "live" and helpfull forum.
Glad to be here guys!

I had this car detailed two weeks ago. When I picked it up, the multifunction display no longer worked. Nobody could figure out what went wrong. A few days later, vertical stripes appeared in the display, and on the next start, it worked perfectly. The next start, no go. Then, again a couple of days later, I got the stripes and with the next start, a normal display. Since then, however, occasional stripes, never a normal display.
I took the instrument cluster out and checked the ribbon cable as a member suggested in a post. No obvious problem there. I tried to check the rear SAM and front SAM, checking fuses, relays, and the computer to look for water or moisture. Everything dry. I got one normal display for my trouble, plus now a persistent SRS error and the AC no longer turning on. I am afraid to try anything else.
Anyone have any suggestions? If not, next stop Just Answer or a local shop.
Thanks
Ken

I know I posted in the wrong place and should have used the w203 forum. I found that forum, no problem. How can I post my new thread there. I see Thread/Thread starter at the top but find no way in. Let me know if you can help.
Thanks,
Ken (KMtech)
