My name is Jose, I got a C230 2006 and can't wait to see and learn from everyone about taking care of this car and making upgrades. I live in Illinois, not much driving it during winter.
Greetings. My name is Woodrow. I live in Flagstaff Arizona and just purchased a new 2019 Mercedes GLE 63s AMG. I knew it was going to be nice, I had no idea how nice. My face hurts from smiling after driving this car. I'm looking forward to tapping the knowledge base of similar owners of this vehicle.

Greetings and Salutations from the Great state of Confusion, Indynanernapolis. A happy hello and pleased to be here to all. I was recently acquired by a sweet German Fraulein named Brunhilde. 2011 C300 4dr with 94K. Sweet car. Well equipped. She goes from a dead stop to way to fast way to quick. Even has the Stupid button on the console. But that is another story. As her #3 I expected there to be some issues regarding servicing and routine maintenance. 100K is a milestone for any one life. Plenty of starts and stops along the way I am sure. Though behind the wheel running up the highway she is always whispering "Come on. We can go faster, and further too" (She may be a demon sent to test me) This while we are passing everything on the road. Anyway after an unfortunate incident with a "gator on the highway. My dearly beloved required the attentions of a body shop. As you know low profile cars and cast off recaps don't do well together. Quick call to the insurance agent. They suggest a repair facility and off we go. Done deal for under 1K. Not to bad at all. My girlfriend is ready to go. Oh yeah. One minor problem. She is in a coma. No crank. Lights but no crank no start. The collision shop had tried their best to figure it out before they reluctantly contacted me and said "this is a well documented problem with Mercedes. First I had ever heard of it. Insurance picked up the tab for a tow to a local Mercedes dealership. for further repairs. Yes the wheels were turned to one of the stops. I hope they had skates. We shall see. Going to go to the W204 C300 Forum for the rest of the story. Good Luck to all and happy motoring.
Hi everyone, I am new in this forum so I am going to present myself.
I am an Italian living in Switzerland. I have been always passionate of cars, in particular sporty ones. I have been always an Alfa Romeo fan (still I am), and I had for many years an Alfa 75 (Milano in the USA). Further that, I had other Alfas.
In parallel wit the daily car, I fell in love with a little sport car to have as second car, the Mazda MX5 (Miata). I purchased an old and cheap second hand one just to try it and I really loved it. A lot of maintenance was required on that car, so I decided to sell it and buy a more recent and better one. I now own a beautiful NCFL model which I enjoy on weekends.
Back on the daily car, Alfa was not proposing anymore interesting models so I decided to change brand and I bought a BMW 3 series (F31). It was a fantastic car for many reasons but somehow I did not really love it. Too many compromises on driving pleasure and no confort neither. Anyway, I kept it for 4 years and I was happy but, at the end, I decided to change it.
I am travelling a lot abroad for work and I use many rental cars. One day I had a W205 C class in France. I have driven it for about 1000 km and I have really enjoyed it. A bit less sporty than my BMW, but confort was on another planet and driving pleasure, despite softer and more comfy, was even better. Therefore, when I changed the BMW, at the top of my list there was a W205, wagon (S205). I have found a very nice one and I bought it. It is 1 year old with very low km on the clock, so it is almost like new. It is a C250d 4matic, so with the 2.1 liter 4 cylinder diesel with two turbos, one for low RPM and second for hi RPM, with 9 gear automatic gearbox and 4 wheels drive. It is a fantastic car, I love the way it cruises. And, after 4 years of pain with the BMW, I finally love the steering, direct, despite "soft", and with a good feeling. The car has a less sporty set up than the BMW but at the end, much more enjoyable for everyday use. And I still have my Miata for the fun.
And here I am.

Hey everyone I’m Rick I own a 2000 W220 S430 I love my car and come here quite often for advice on various issues. My next project is to upgrade the head unit to a new radio/ Bluetooth receiver. I know the car has fiber optic lines from the unit to the amp so I’ll be doing my home work/ in the next day or so. Please if anyone has done this can you tell me what wire are my speaker wires and if possible can I i use a small true wattage amp to beef up the new speakers I’m installing. I would like to put the amp behind the new head unit since it won’t take up any room as the old stock unit was big and bulky. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you and I will return any knowledge I have if needed. Thanks Rick
I got my 2016 E400 Cab a few months ago and decided it's probably best to get engaged with fellow MB lovers. In the past I've always enjoyed working on my own ride but there's very little out there for this vehicle, so I'm going to start depending on and contributing to forums to get the job done. Here's a pic of my new baby Shin Ya!
Hi, I'm new. I bought my 83 500 SEC a few years back. I've done some work to achieve the look I like. Now I cant stop staring at the thing... Definitely a project. Looking forward to learning more.
After 18 years of owning a 1986 BMW 325es (E30) -- and some idiot pulling out in front of me and totalling it on August 23 -- I am picking up my "new" 1986 560SL on Saturday.
I've always wanted one and the prices have been falling recently. I will be seeking much information on servicing, maintaining and driving this new car from all of you, and thank you in advance!
Trying to get some help with my 211 but can't get any help on my thread... can I get someone familiar with w211 electronics to message me please and take a look at these codes?
