My name is Leo and I am a first-time MB owner with a 2020 GLC 350e. So far been enjoying the car, despite having a check engine light come on in the first 24h I owned the vehicle and intermittently ever since. Looking online (in this forum and other sites), I’ve discovered that it is a somewhat common issue, and it’s not really that much of a threat. Light hasn’t come on lately, but will address it at the first 10,000-mile service, together with possible updates (dash cam, parked collision warning, etc.). Anybody had any luck with these updates? Now unfortunately MB still hasn’t brought the 2021 GLC 350e, and an all-new GLC will be announced soon to follow the new C-Class. As a new MB owner, what must I beware of??? Thanks!
‘First time Mercedes owner. ‘Needed comfortable seats for a back issue and the best solution I found was a 2017 S550. ‘Acquired, yesterday, following 2 months of research, and more impressed with every mile. ‘Have already added many and even more seat time, as I get familiar and configure the abundant settings. ‘Astounded by all of the great info on this forum. I own a 2004 E320 4MATIC Wagon. Reading the threads will possibly make me feel smarter than I am and could lead to epically bad decisions. Nonetheless, it’s pretty clear the E class group responds like whippets on crack- so that’s where I’ll be. Usual problems with “release handles” (ie plug/fasteners) over spare tire breaking, trying to extract the little *******s, getting nervous when I see the screw heads are down, thinking self-righteously that at least I ordered the right part; limp mode: is it a sensor, a plate a clogged fuel dohicky, or is the transmission dying and I’ll need to sell a kidney... so yeah, that’s what brings me here. See all y’all around.

I have recently bought back from my Son a 2006 S500 4MATIC. The car, once I boosted it and got it into my driveway, had a completely failed strut. Having issues but not sure if this is the right place to ask this. Please advise. Thanks Doug Geddes.
First time MB owner, my model has e-16 Torx bolts. After reading the forum some gentle heating and they popped out. Subsequently I removed the strut. After some extra persuasion I release the bar from the wishbone to prep for replacement. My problem is; the slots (give room for the bolts on the bottom of strut to be held in place). The replacement strut has these slots off, not parallel to the air input on the top. I am afraid if I put it in it is going to blow the strut when it gets twisted into place when weight and air is applied. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for listening, this forum is second to none!

My sister bought a benz a few months back. I had to follow suit lol. Not really, but I think I found a good deal on a 08 clk 350. My wallet is lighter by about 7 large but I don't mind. There are some things I need to do, for instance the driver side seat belt extender is missing the plate that actually extends the belt. I was wondering if anyone has a working spreadsheet or database for all the components? I'm curious as to what exactly is in this car. I'm just curious - always have been, about everything lol.

I recently purchased a 1 owner 2003 Mercedes s 430. I love this car but I am havin some slight issues. Today I had to get a jump and didn’t kno why. But I am getting a clicking noise from my driver side trunk like a motor or something which I think is drawing my battery from time to time and ideas what it may be?

Hello new guy on here. Have a 2011 GL450 with 120k miles. Bought at 112k, drove well for 2k miles and then had all kinds of suspension issues. Dealer replaced front diff, front bearings, front right and back left shocks - I replaced tires - all kept my GL sagging at night in the rear and riding like a tank. Read a thread on here about resetting the airmatic with an OBD scanner and thought I’d give it a try- it worked! -28mm in rear and -30mm in front seems to keep car level at night and riding like it should. Thank you! Dealer couldn’t figure it out - research on this site led me to an answer. Can’t say thanks enough. Love the GL450. Hope to get another 120k out of it
