MB Service took it apart & nothing was lodged in it. But they said they could see a point of contact where something HAD been lodged beneath the seat. (former csi techs i guess) So that makes it not be covered by the warranty. But for a mere $760 bucks they can fix it for me.
I will go the parts & labor route. Will check with a collision center. Thanks for the feedback!
I'd verify that yourself if I were you... Not sure how reputable your dealership is, but not sure if that sounds right. If something was lodged, motor would grind to a halt as it's not that powerful a motor that it'd power through and damage the track parts. And for $760.... really? Probably a $10 part to replace and an hour or two of labor. I've taken apart the seat mechanism before when I had my interior torn apart getting reupholstered and wasn't much to it.
Hi, just treated myself to a 2013 C63 Amg saloon in red. Wasn't sure about the light interior but thinks it works well in the flesh. I fitted it up with a set of 20" Vossen VFS2 rims. 8.5x20 et45 and 10x20 et55

Looks great. More often than not, you see red with black interior, but the lighter color looks fresh. Nice wheel choice

Grats on the w211. Good low mileage for a 2008. Not often you find low mileage bluetec as most people daily or drive the crap out of those.

Hello, i'm new to here, and it's also the first time i take part in a forum. I work with mostly new MB cars and are often in need of information about the newest brands. I'm hoping i will find the information i need here and also that i can be of assistance to others.
My urgent need now is to find a good reverse signal that i can use when i'm installing parking sensors.
I installed a Apple TV in a customers car (MB212 -2016 mod with NTG 5,1) today if anyone need info on such things.
Hello. I'm new here. I bought a CPO 212 E350 4matic about a year ago. Other than maintenance costs, I love the car. I will be looking for recommendations on parts and maintenance, especially when the warranty runs out. I got 6 years from the original service date (unlimited miles) as part of the CPO deal.

Hi everyone,
I have a leak coming from the connection of tube(that's coming from the transmission)and the radiator.I assuming it's just an o ring. Does anyone have diagram for what I might need?
Many thanks
Good evening, everyone. I figured I'd go ahead and join this forum since I've recently bought a c350 and have found myself on this site almost everyday. I'll most likely be posting pictures of any upgrades I make, although most will be aesthetic as it is still under warranty. Have a good one.
Hey everyone!
From Chicago. Got a 2008 c63 last October. I just started doing some mods. Currently I have an ECU flash done and just ordered k&n air filter and denso spark plugs. Holding off on purchasing a euro ROW airbox. Any suggestions on what I should do next??
New to the forum, and new to the AMG's as I just purchased my first the 2014 CLS63-S. Its a very special car as I got the Designo Mystic Blue Exterior and the Designo Platnium White Leather Interior. Winter is coming so I haven't done anything to the car yet but am looking into a couple things, if anyone has any advice let me know!
Also if anyone knows where I can get carbon fiber parts for the cls, please let me know as I am looking for parts like diffuser, mirror covers, front lip, etc.

Hi Folks, I am AJ, bought a 21k miles 2014 GL 450 for $60000, original MSRP on it was $73665. It has the following optional features included,
premium P01
parktronic
trailer hitch
harmon/kardon
power easy-entry
running boards
pre-wiring for rear seat entertainment
Lane Tracking package
Exterior Color - Polar white
Interior Color - Black MB-Tex
Eucalyptus wood trim
Planning to add two iPad docking stations to hook into the pre-wiring of rear entertainment system, please advise if this is a better choice?
I really like the chrome exhaust tips and wooden/leather steering wheel but this one doesn't have it. Made compromise.
Enjoying the drive, very smooth feels like travelling on flight! :-)
Welcome and grats on the purchase! Good news is that Chrome exhaust tips and upgraded steering wheel is fairly easy to upgrade afterwards. Many simply purchase either aftermarket or OEM tips and any muffler shop remove and add the upgraded tips. Steering wheel similarly can purchase aftermarket, OEM, or even get your OEM rewrapped in a higher grade leather. You'd reuse your same air bag assembly.
Thank you for the reply. Could you please advise some sites where I should be buying aftermarket and OEM parts for Exhaust tips and wooden trim steering wheel.

Thanks in advance.
Easiest way is to contact your parts department and get a part number to order straight from MB. More than likely this won't be the cheapest option.
If you're interested in aftermarket, for the steering wheel, try hitting up DCT (www.dctms.com). They're forum vendors and have fixed up many MB steering wheels. Koncept Cars and Pelican Parts could also probably help you out.
2005 C230 Kompressor Sport, 2010 ML350 BlueTec, 2016 GLE 450 AMG Sport Coupe
South Florida checking in!
Hi everyone!
Glad to join the forum, I've been into Mercedes-Benz vehicles since I was a kid riding around in my dad's 1982 240D! My first Benz was a 1999 SLK230 (RIP - thanks to a hit and run driver on I-95).
I daily drive a 171,500 mile 2005 C230 Kompressor Sport in Orion Blue Metallic with Black Leather/Aluminum Trim Interior. Towing and utility are completed with my 2010 ML350 BlueTec and just last week an order has been placed for a 2016 GLE 450 AMG Sport Coupe in Designo Diamond White Metallic with Saddle Brown/Carbon Fiber Interior out for delivery in December! WOO!!!
My name is Vim and I'm not really new to the forum, as I've searched for information here before, but finally decided to join. I drive a 2007 w211 e63 which is the first MB car I've owned.
I plan to do a few minor mods like wheels, lowering and possibly some exterior bits. But otherwise keeping it stock.
Here is a photo of mine from last year, when I first got it.
