It's done 145000 kilomtres and it rides brilliantly! But of course it's not without it's fault (I'll tell you about what they are later) which I would like to work on my own.

She's been lowered, tuned, front mount intercooler added, downpipes, cat back exhaust with x-pipe in place of the resonator, and I still have all the original paperwork from the factory/dealer. 2002 ML320 with 180k miles
Since purchasing a couple of years back, I have been going through the vehicle and replacing anything needed. Recently, I have encountered a rear axle area noise that increases and decreases with rpms. I think it might be the driveshaft center support bearing.
Any thoughts or guidance is appreciated. And forgive me in advance if I'm not following protocol for I'm new to this.

I am Steve from Pennsylvania. I never had a Benz before until a little over a month ago when this 2008 e350 4matic caught my attention. I really bought it for my wife but I didn't want to be generic and just get her a Camry or an Accord. She drove the Mercedes around the block, parked it and hasn't driven it since. I'm ok with that. I drive it a few times a week, it makes me want to check out an S-class in the future. My main car is a 2016 Lincoln. I've owned a few BMWs in the past and know them pretty well but I do not know anything about Mercedes. That's why I am here. 2008 E350 2016 MKZ

I have never owned a Mercedes before in my life, and have very little knowledge of these cars. It's somewhat of a fixer upper, so I will be needing help from all you 'experts'! It's a long story, but basically a friend of mine who was helping me though tough times, purchased it for himself, but has now 'loaned' it to me for long term use. It runs, but many things are wrong with it...she ain't pretty lol!

If it runs that's half the battle. Change the oil, air and fuel filter first. Then just work your way through it. I've been at preventive maintenance since I bought my 2000 sl 500 6 months ago and its running much better. I still keep finding neglected items but I try and replace them as soon as I find them. Go to U-tube for repair info.
